Buy My Fine Art Prints

Posted by KartuneHustla - January 6th, 2009

Edit: Finally I realized that I need to start reading stuff more. I guess I got too excited. Anyways, here is the deal. Apparently when I was signed in on the website, i was only seeing the price without my markup fee because it was a "personal purchase". Now i understand what Luis was saying when he found out how much it cost. I really didn't mean for it to be that much, and i just bought my own art thinking I would somehow get the money back, but oh well. You live an you learn. So I'll be taking the Rtil route and probably just get this stuff in bulk. If you still want to purchase it go ahead, but I'm trying to find a way to print this stuff myself so it will be cheaper for you guys. I am thinking long and hard at the moment: "thats what she said".

So far I have only made one print to sell in my gallery. I will definitely be making more artwork. I thought I would sell some prints because my friends are always asking me if they can have something whenever I draw some art. So I thought it would be better to just sell them since they aren't doing much sitting in my cabinet. For better quality I will be scanning them and tracing them in flash so you can get the best quality.

You can buy the prints and choose any canvas or paper for the artwork to be printed on. It's up to you really! Anyways, I price mine fairly cheap. Not trying to rob you guys. It would be cool if people bought some though. Like I said ill be making one every 4 to 5 days hopefully. The smallest will run from 8 dollars and on canvas they are 16 because of how expensive they are. Well, I order myself one so i can hang on my wall and ill be showing you guys soon once I get it in the mail. Here is a link to my profile:

Buy a Print or Canvas on my page

I just got it so I'll be updating it with pics and stuff.

In other news, I am still animating for my project Wizard Kin. I'm also doing something for Rudy's in my arms collab, danomano's (our Queeroes collab), and the Street Fighter collab. I am still gonna try to make something for the spam colalb, but I don't know if I can squeeze it in. Well, that's about it you guys, enjoy the available print you can buy below

PS: I recommend buying them without the canvas so you wont have to shell out that much money. The set price I put down was 20 dollars, so it calculates the other prices based on the canvas, or if you just want a regular print, or on a frame, or etc. I ordered my as just a print. The frame would have cost me way to much. Anyways the print ranges from 8 to 12 and the canvas i forgot, but its on their so check

SuperPS: Also if you have an idea for a print that you would definitely buy, drop me a pm or leave a comment. I will totally make it based on what you give me as long as its not inappropriate or anything

EDIT: There is a new print up in the store called Your Brain On Technology. Check it out on the same link above

IF YOU EXPERIENCE A THE PRICE BEING MORE EXPENSIVE THEN IT SHOULD BE LET ME KNOW. THE PRINTS SHOULD ONLY RANGE FROM 8.49 (petite) TO 32.99 (massive). Let me know if its way higher than it should be. This things been glitching all day :/

well i made this way after the deadline. Plus, isn't it for only hand-drawn art. I wish I could have joined this years though. I'll definitely make something for next year

the Nutty Bunch

I really like it.. and I wanna buy it but the print size is a little small.. I'd like it to be larger :(

there is a new print up that you can buy that is about half my size :D. Its so badass. I order one for myself yet again

if I had money to spend I might have bought "Your Brain on Technology ", it would look tight on my wall :)

i know what you mean man. Hopefully you get some mula from donations. I'll be donating once i make atleast one sale :D

Ok, that new one is pretty tight, you planning on putting up some more prints any time soon? If you are I'll just postpone ordering for a while so I won't regret ordering the one if I'd liked the one you would put up later better :P (does that make any sense?)

haha thanks. Well I'll be posting a new one every 3 days or so. So it will be frequent. I take a day out of my schedule to make these, then the rest of the week I animate. Usually I knock out two a day but sometimes it dosnt happen like that

ah damn to bad im aint got no money on em right now :(

Its cool man. No rush. Plus there is more to come, so u may want to wait until u find that special one or just when u get the money u can request a custom one all for yourself. Either way dude, its all good :)

Shit 35 bucks is a bit much for a 11x14 isnt it?

i dont know why they keep changing the price. Should be cheaper
should be only 10 bucks. Check again. Must be a glitch

now its 26.49 for a 7x10 which you could print yourself and sign and number. meh... 7x10 isnt large enough to frame, and at 26.50 i kinda woulda wanted a larger print not a prom picture size.

damn, haha i don't knwo whats wrong with it. I'll make a larger size for you luis and try to find a way to print them myself so i can send them down. Ill figure out a way

Also, make sure you are looking at prints and not canvas's. They confuse me too i know

just some thoughts..

most websites that offer these services overcharge greatly, and i'm also assuming you make a pittance of what is actually sold (especially at deviantArt). i know it is exciting to have an opportunity to sell your artwork, but i would avoid it unless you know you're actually going to sell more than a handful of prints. reason being is that if you can, you can get them printed in bulk and save yourself and your fans a boatload of money.

it takes a lot more work and effort on your part, but in the end i would say that it is worth it.

thanks man, that sounds pretty reasonable. Hmm, ill see happens. Do you know anywhere that is good where I can order this stuff in bulk then I can sell it

depends on how many you're looking to print. it's an investment/risk you'll have to make based on how many you think you can sell. the way it works is just like costco - the more you buy in bulk, the cheaper it is per print.

thanks again man. You are very helpful

for the record, i dont mind paying 20 bucks a print, but as rtil said most of that money woulda went to some corporate giant where you'd probably make MAYBE a buck. so yea that is the part that annoys me and turns me off... Have you looked into getting a screenprinting kit? I saw a quickie one at urban outfitters the other day.. it isnt going to be like museum quality stuff but for white one/two color prints i think itd be worth a shot. The benefit of it would be to be able to make prints by request. You could number them and sign them and all that jazz.

Also screenprinting is fun. If you ever have a chance to take a class in college/high school do so.

dang, ill look at that option right now. Sounds fun
